Retainer, CanCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT Policy

Retainer Fee

A retainer fee secures the time and services of Silver Key Films for the wedding date. The retainer fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation and is considered liquidated damages to the videographer.

Postponement

Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain all monies paid if Silver Key Films can re-schedule for the new date and time.

If Silver Key Films are unavailable for the new date, we will appoint associate shooters to film the wedding on our behalf and edit the videos in our style.

Cancellation

The client may cancel the contract at any time by giving written notice to the videographer, but in doing so shall forfeit the retainer fee.

Cancellation less than 30 days before the wedding will result in the payment in full becoming due with the exception of cancellation due to COVID-19 government restrictions. If the client must cancel the wedding due to these restrictions, the client will forfeit the retainer fee to Silver Key Films and Silver Key Films will issue a refund for any additional payments made by the client.

COVID-19 REGULATIONS

Silver Key Films will comply with National guide for safe workplaces - COVID-19 and WA department of health regulations. For example, we will social distance, wear masks and sanitise as required. We will ensure that we do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 or exposure to COVID-19.

Attendance

In the unlikely event of Silver Key Films being unable to attend the wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, we will appoint associate shooters to film the wedding on our behalf and edit the videos in our style.
